Fresh Start 2019

This year to say the least has been CRAZY, EMOTIONAL and REWARDING all at the same time. It’s the truth when you hear “Everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about, be kind. Always.” Wether thats something going on with work, love life, family, friends… We all are going through something, and that something may not seem like a big deal to you, BUT that is hard for that person at that time in their lives. We need to learn to look for the positive and be kind to everyone.

Something Sad That Happened In 2018…

I’m sure I am not the only person who lost someone dear to their heart over this last year,  I lost a family friend who always gave me the best advice.  He always spoke of me so highly and was sure to know that I was only going up in life. If I was looking for a new job or talking about buying a home to work on he would be there to help me. When I attended his funeral everyone spoke of him in a way that HE WAS THE MAN. You needed help or advice he was always the first one to be there.

“Always Loved, Never Forgotten, Forever Missed”

I want this to be my new goal for 2019. I want people to know that I am ALWAYS there for them. If you need a ride at 2am or simply someone to talk to… I want everyone to know I can be that girl. Someone who is kind, positive, helpful and willing to do anything for you. I like to think of myself as having a big heart and caring for everyone I come across. I don’t want that to change. I want to always have a big heart, a heart that has room for everyone. <3

“It’s the friends we meet along the way that help us appreciate the journey.”

So to Mike Wersland… Thank you, thank you for showing me what it’s like to be there for everyone and making people (me) feel like they can conquer the world. You will be forever missed in my eyes.

The Follow Up From My Bring On 2018 Blog Post…

I wrote a lot in my 2018 blog post about traveling. I had a list of places I wanted to visit in the year, Some I did and some I did not. I will say that I accomplished a lot of traveling this last year and for that I am grateful for.

Utah MULTIPLE times this year. Some for fun and some to handle business. BEYOND grateful for the people I have in my home town. Oh how I miss you all everyday.
Vegas is always fun. Went twice this year and I’m sure I will be back in 2019.
(Hopefully for the vegas beauty show)
Celebrated my cousins birthday on a three day cruise.
Stopping on Catalina Island as well as Ensenada Mexico.

Maui Hawaii was one for the books. Such a beautiful vacation with two of my brothers and my dad!
Went to Dumont Dunes for a weekend camping trip! The dessert is a BEAUTIFUL place.

So that above kind of sums up some of the traveling I accomplished this last year. Not too bad, and can’t wait to start my traveling off with a big bang for 2019. First stop London England. I leave January 13th the day after my birthday with my friend Vanessa and couldn’t be more excited.

My dad is the reason for always wanting to visit England. He served his two year church mission there.

A HUGE accomplishment I made in 2018…

For those that know me I am an Esthetician and have been for about 5 years. It is my passion. I truly can say I love what I do. SOOOO I decided to take the risk and open my own salon with a friend. It hands down was the best decision I have made. I LOVE being my own boss, being in my salon and watching it continue to grow… and by grow I mean seeing my many clients and new people reach out to support me, adding new machines, and also adding retail all makes my heart so happy. So to all those that support me on the daily… THANK YOU! I couldn’t do it without you. xoxo

A Struggle I have had in 2018…

I don’t know about you but I have always had a hard time going to the gym. I do better when I have someone to go with. This last year I stopped doing my crossfit because of some changes in my life and I was honestly so worked up in my head about going to another crossfit gym or regular gym alone. So I took quite a few months off and finally decided I needed to get back at it. I have now been back at crossfit for about 4 months and couldn’t be happier. Hence the picture below I decided to be FEARLESS and do what I wanted to be doing.

I also did tons of hiking this year. One of my favorite things to do on my days off. We live in a BEAUTIFUL world, and If I could explore ever single crevasse of this earth I would. Grateful to be alive and breathing.

More Changes I had in 2018…

Those of you that know my friend Amy.. She has been my girl for years. We had a long distant friendship while she was in Utah and I was in Cali. She would always send me cards and packages. (The sweetest I know) A few years after I had moved to California she married into the military which moved them to San Diego. It was so great having her in the same state as me. (FINALLY) This last year they had to move due to the military and that took them to Texas… To say I was sad is and understatement. Not only did they move but we just found out she is pregnant with a little boy!! I wish she was close so I could be around for this but our daily texts and phone calls make it a little better. Cant wait for 2019 to bring my best friend her sweet boy! Congrats friend! I love and miss you everyday!

“True Friends Are Never Apart, Maybe In Distance, But Never In Heart.”

A Few Things That I Really Enjoyed Doing In 2108…

I was able to attend two concerts this year. Post Malone being one of them. My friend Kody from Utah happened to be in town and he invited me to go. Hands down one of the BEST concerts I’ve ever been to. Our tickets were literally two rows away from the stage so it made the concert experience so incredible. If I could go to a concert and be that close every time I would be attending all concerts. lol

I wish these pictures could do it justice.

Dustin Lynch was the other concert. He played at the LA Fair. I love country music, it is my favorite type of concert to attend. I’ve seen several artist and hope to see more this next year.

Goodbye 2018…

I do these blogs for myself and for whoever wants to follow along (I’m assuming a lot of my family in Utah lol) It’s a way for me to look back on my life and see the things I have accomplished, My own personal online journal. 2018 was one for the books. It most definitely had its high and lows between job changes, meeting new people, moving, traveling, family, dating and simply living my life the best I can.

I have a lot of things to look forward to this new year and I’m very excited to see where my life takes me and the people it brings into my life. I will be turning 26 in a few days (January 12th to be specific) Moving into a new apartment and leaving to England on the 13th. Now that’s a good way to start 2019.

I hope to ALL the people I have come across that 2019 is your best year yet. Filled with love, success, happiness and adventure. We are all different in our own ways, we make mistakes, we learn, grow, laugh and love. We are human and ALL deserve to live the best life possible. CHEERS to this beautiful world we live in! Happy 2019! xoxo
