The Struggle Of Acne

ACNE IS A STRUGGLE

Before you judge those pictures continue reading…

First off this post is real life and a very touchy subject for me. It’s embarrassing that my face got to that point. I felt I had no control. I felt I had tired everything. Medication, accutane, creams, facials.. you name it. I remember trying to figure out what I wanted to go to school for and how bad I wanted to go to FIDM (Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising).. hence why I moved to California. I had this conversation with my mom on the phone that I toured FIDM and realized it just may not be for me at the time. She said.. “Why not skin care, this is always something you have struggled with and been passionate about.” So I toured the school and within three days started Esthetics school. What a blessing!

Eight months later I graduated and passed my state board test. So exciting! Not to mention this test took place on my birthday.. What a great present to myself!

Learning in school about skin products, ingredients, how to take care of your skin, chemical peels, things that inflame our skin, etc. I could go on and on. It was such a great time for me to get a grip on my own skin. Through the jobs and trainings that I have had the last 3 years working as an esthetician have not only helped my skin but I have helped SO many of my own clients to get control of their skin. You name it.. Acne, sun spots, dryness, scars, etc. I have been able to help and improve their skin!

I LOVE what I do. Those fighting with any kind of skin issues.. Keep fighting! It will get better with knowledge and using the right products. I am here to help!

With this blog post will come more post of my skin care regimen, products I love, products that I don’t love, things you can do to always keep your skin glowing and healthy! Feel free to ask any questions! I would love to help! Thanks everyone for all the support and being so positive!

  1. Babe you always look beautiful no matter what. I don’t know how I got so lucky! Plus you do a great job at keeping my face clean and clear even if you do make me have a girls night with you and wear a mask. I love you!
