I am so excited to start this new journey of blogging. This is a place for me to share things about myself, experiences, beauty tips and whatever else I feel like sharing and expressing. This is me so take it or leave it!

I wanna start my first post off by telling a little bit about myself and the journey I have been on so far in this crazy life. I was born and raised in Centerville Utah. Raised by great parents and being the oldest of three brothers. My parents were married through my childhood and come my senior year they went their separate ways. Never in a million years did me and my brothers think this would be something we would have to deal with. Everyone has their family drama and things they need to deal with. This happens to be one that my family has had to deal with.

Through my senior year I was server at Pizza Factory and shortly after I graduated I had become the server manager. I worked there for about two years. On to the next job I went. I was now a secretary at a car dealership in woods cross. Absolutely loved the people I worked with. Three months into that job I got a job offer to move to Rancho Cucamonga California and become a nanny of three boys. Who would ever have thought that I packed up my crap at 19 and onto the next journey I went.

I was a nanny for a year and three months. Man was that a time of learning and growing for me. The first six months of being gone was extremely  hard. I am such a family girl and I was so homesick. My days off from being a mom consisted of sunflower seeds, magazines, nail polish and tv shows. It took me a bit to make some really great friends.

After the nanny gig ended I had two options go back to Utah or work my butt off to stay in California. So I worked my butt off and got two jobs while living with a  friend I had met through church. Job number one working at Berries Frozen Yogurt, job number two server at California Pizza Kitchen. While working these two jobs I put myself though school. Eight months later after working two jobs and going to school I finally became and Esthetician. (skin care for those who don’t know)

I now have been working as an Esthetician for almost three years also still working at California Pizza Kitchen almost four years later as now not only a server but moved up to a bar tending position. Still on the grind with two jobs that I do really enjoy.

I have now been in California for almost six years. Its had its ups and downs and being away from the people I love in Utah doesn’t get any easier, But I do love the people, my work, things Ive learned, and the things I have accomplished out in Cali.

A little bit about me and eventually in other posts I will go into details about other things. As of now so you know I am a lover of my career, skin, make up, clothing, bargain shopping,  food and visiting new places. I want to be able to share my experiences and how I am figuring out life just like everyone else! Thanks to anyone and everyone who reads and comments!
