A day on the ocean with my girl… nothin better! Amy pictured in the cute american suit has been by my side for quite sometime now. We met at a restaurant in Utah where we were both servers. Who would of thought she would become one of my very closest friends.

Ever since I moved to California she has been consistent with texts, phone calls, face timing, sending me cards, etc. You get the idea. She is my girl and over the years we have gotten very close.

June of 2016 she got married to a man in the military. With that being said a few months after getting married she moved to California. After at least five years of long distance friendship we are now in the same state.

She is living in San Diego and even tho she is over an hour in half away we try to get together as often as we can considering we both work a lot. This was the perfect two day vacation that was needed for the both of us! A day in Carlsbad paddle boarding, dinner, going out and sleeping in to wake up chill, talk and watch movies. I am so grateful for Amy and the friendship we have!

If you have not been paddle boarding you should totally give it a try! This area we went to was in Carlsbad and I have also been to a spot in Balboa Island (near Huntington beach) It’s a very great way to get some sun and relax on the water. Lets be real if I’m not in the mountains I wanna be on the ocean!

Definition of paddle boarding: A surfboard or similar long narrow board that a person propels over the water, often in a standing position by means of a long-handled paddle.

Definition of a best friend: A person’s closest friend, someone you value in your life, someone you have fun with, someone you trust and someone you confide in.
